A gifted and innovative facilitator, Ingrid brings fresh approaches and creative solutions to organizational transformation, leadership effectiveness, team performance and community building.
For over 25 years, Ingrid has worked with hundreds of leadership teams as well as with consultants, coaches and trainers. She brings expertise, creativity and vitality to projects that require high level alignment and commitment. She is on the faculty of Marlboro Graduate School, Leadership Pioneer Valley and Leadership Institute for Political and Public Impact. Her comprehensive repertoire of resources includes leading-edge models; learning and assessment tools; surveys; teleclasses and e-learning techniques. She developed and teaches LifeShaping: Designing Extraordinary Futures at international learning centers and resorts. Ingrid has worked and studied in Europe and Asia. She earned her master's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of New Haven.

ASSOCIATES, EXPERTS, AND ADVISERS:
Linda Berger Spivack, RN, MS, CENP is the Statewide Director of the Connecticut Nursing Collaborative – Action Coalition. Prior to her CNC-AC appointment, Linda served as Patient Care Services at Hartford Hospital. She held previous appointments at MidState Medical Center where she served as the Vice President of Patient Care Services, Director of Transition Planning, and Director of Nursing Administration, Education and Research and was adjunct faculty at the University of Hartford. Linda has provided consultation services in the area of hospital space redesign, operational planning, management development, and care delivery model design. Linda received an A.A.S. from Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing, a B.S. from Stern College for Women, and M.S. in Nursing from Hunter College, City University of New York. Linda is currently attending the PhD in Nursing program at The Graduate Center, City University of New York. Linda serves on several community boards and is a founding member of the Connecticut Partnership for Patient Safety. Linda possesses passions for teaching and for leadership. At the CNC-AC, she advises, co-leads, and executes multiple statewide efforts harnessing the power of the largest segment of the health care work force, Nurses, to partner with physicians, health care organizations, and consumers to meet this emerging demand. Collaboratively, focusing to implement the core recommendations outlined in the Institute of Medicine’s report, Future of Nursing: Leading Change, Advancing Health. Linda also presents and is invited to lecture on Patient Safety, Shared Governance, Nursing Leadership, and Caring Cultures. Mostly, Linda finds the greatest joy in caring for others and mentoring other leaders.
Deborah Elliott, RN, BSN, MBA is the Executive Director of Nurses House, Inc. and the Center for Nursing at the Foundation of New York State Nurses, Inc. A registered professional nurse, Deb’s clinical expertise is in the field of Women’s and Children’s Health, primarily Labor and Delivery. Her professional career began at a community hospital in the Capital District for which she worked for 27 years, 12 of those years were in administrative positions. Since obtaining a MBA from Union Graduate College, Deb has served in various leadership positions including the Executive Director for the Maternal Infant Network of the Capital District and the Deputy Executive Officer for the New York State Nurses Association. She has directed many programs and projects, including grants provided by the New York Department of Health, New York Department of Labor, the New York Department of Education, the United Way, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Deb is a seasoned public speaker, educator and grants writer, and is certified in Labor Relations from Cornell University. She has been an active volunteer with several organizations, including the American Heart Association, United Methodist Church of Scotia and Skye Farm Camp and Retreat and serves on various boards, task forces and committees.
Clare Monteau Ph.D is passionate about creating vibrant workplaces, where employees and businesses thrive. After completing a Ph.D. and postdoctoral studies in Synthetic Organic Chemistry she began her career in the pharmaceutical industry, developing processes to make new drugs, followed by a period managing the manufacture of pharmaceutical materials for clinical trials. She then took on the newly created role of Continuous Improvement Leader for her organization, creating and delivering training, and leading business improvements through the use of Lean and Six Sigma practices, using her understanding of the business to impact the most needed areas. In her own consulting practice Clare Monteau LLC, she combines proven productivity tools such as Lean Six Sigma, with DiSC, positive psychology and leadership development, to lead organizations to optimize systems and create environments which are more effective, measurable and profitable.
Marcia B. Proto, M.Ed., CAS is a skilled leader, facilitator and fundraiser in the health care industry. She is currently the Executive Director for the Connecticut League for Nursing (CLN) and the Connecticut Center for Nursing Workforce. She has positioned CLN as a leader by offering national and regional online education in the areas of, RN Re-entry into Practice, The Development of Adjunct Clinical Faculty, and Transitioning to the Role of Homecare Nurse. In 2013 Marcia was recognized for her innovative leadership by the National League for Nursing. Under her leadership, CLN has formed strategic partnerships with other nursing organizations in the state and the region to collaborate on Future of Nursing initiatives. She serves as a member or advisor on:
- Advisory Council for the Connecticut Nursing Collaborative- Action Coalition
- Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors at MidState Medical Center & previous chairperson of the Patient Care Quality and Safety Committee of the Board and
